Professional Bio
I am an executive leader with more than 20 years of experience strengthening mission-driven organizations through strategic operations, fundraising partnerships, program development, and high-performing team leadership. I currently serve as the Director of Development for Pittsburgh Area Community Schools, where I lead comprehensive development strategy, donor engagement, and philanthropic partnerships that expand educational access, community support services, and sustainable funding for children and families across the greater Pittsburgh region.
Before joining PACS, I served as National Camp Manager for Girl Scouts of the USA, where I oversaw multimillion-dollar, grant-funded national initiatives in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies, the National Park Service, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the American Camp Association. In this role, I developed national resources used across 111 councils, strengthened DEI alignment in program environments, and advised executive leaders on safety, risk, insurance, and inclusive practices. My work contributed to record-setting national event participation and improved operational consistency across the Girl Scout movement.
Prior to my national role, I served as Vice President of Program and Property for Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania, where I was a member of the executive team guiding a $6M annual budget, nine camp and property sites, and programs serving more than 18,000 members across 27 counties. I aligned program strategy with fundraising opportunities, managed grant partnerships, oversaw capital planning, implemented operational systems, and ensured equitable, accessible program delivery.
My global leadership experience includes serving as Senior Director for USA Girl Scouts Overseas (North Atlantic, Europe). In that role, I managed operations across seven European countries, partnered with U.S. military leadership, secured supplemental funding, and supported consistent program delivery for members in 96 countries worldwide.
Outside of my professional work, I’m passionate about the outdoors and staying active. I love biking, running, hiking, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding—and I never pass up a chance to spend time at the beach. I’m also an avid wine and bourbon collector who enjoys exploring new tastings, and I appreciate winding down with a good Netflix movie.
