Professional Bio
Matthew Clark, J.D., AEP® is Executive Director of Planned Giving at the West Virginia University Foundation, where he leads the university’s estate and gift planning strategy. With nearly 20 years of experience in charitable gift planning, he has secured more than $128 million in planned gifts in support of WVU.

He serves as Treasurer of the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council, having previously served as its President, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.

Matthew earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, an MBA from Pennsylvania State University, and a BBA in Economics from Mississippi State University. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and holds the Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designation.

Outside of work, he enjoys curling, traveling with his family, and volunteering in his community.
